Welcome to TheyAreAlphabeat.com - the unofficial internet home of Danish pop superstars Alphabeat!

Alphabeat are a Danish pop band comprised of six members, Stine Bramsen, Anders SG,  Anders B ('Lil Anders'), Anders Reinholdt,  Rasmus Nagel, and Troels Hansen.

The band formed in 2002 and were signed in Demark three years later. In 2007 they released their debut album and undertook a major Danish tour. Later that year they moved to the UK and prepared for their explosion onto the UK musical scene. 2008 saw their first European tour as well as a completely sold out UK tour. By the end of the year they'd completed a massive 160 live performances!

2009 sees their bright future expanding. The signing of a new contract with Polydor UK early in the year has been followed by months of work back in the studio producing a wealth of new material for a second album due for release on October 19th in the UK.

Late August saw several live performances for Alphabeat... an initial warmup gig in Brighton followed by two performances for the V Festival - with the sets including several songs from the new material - stonking new tunes which were exuberantly received by the fans!
